Best PC Cricket Games ever Released

Here’s the list of Best cricket games for PC

#6: Ashes Cricket 2013:

Release Date: November 22, 2013
The inclusion of Ashes Cricket 2013 on this list just goes to show how few cricket games are available to fans. Published by 505 Games, Ashes Cricket 2013 was widely panned on its release and is widely considered to be the worst game of 2013. The game was released with a number of bugs, including poorly implemented controls, sub-par character animations, outdated graphics, and a number of of non-functioning parts. You can see these bugs and the other gameplay problems in the video below.
The failure was a surprise given the popularity and success of the previous entry in the series, Ashes 2009, and the promise of commentary by legendary sportscasters Mark Nicholas and David Lloyd. However, Ashes Cricket 2013 is one of the biggest failures in the history of cricket games for PC.

#5: International Cricket Captain 2013

Release Date: June 29, 2013.
International Cricket Captain is a virtual cricket management simulator, where the player hopes to rise in the ranks to captain increasingly more prestigious teams. Developed by Childish Things, it has been released for Windows and Mac OS. The 2013 version is considered the best cricket game released in the International Cricket Captain series. There is also an online multi-player option added in this version.

#4: Brian Lara Cricket 2007

Release Date: March 23, 2007
Developed by Code-Masters, BLC 2007 was released during the 2007 Cricket World Cup which was hosted in the West Indies, Brian Lara’s birthplace. This game is a sequel to Brian Lara Cricket 2005 and contains a number of improvements in the graphics and gameplay, including better directional control when batting so that the player could attempt to hit the ball in any direction.
Interestingly, the game was released as Ricky Poting Cricket 2007 in Australia and New Zealand and as Yuvraj Singh Cricket 2007 in India and Sri Lanka. Available on the Xbox, PS2 and PC, it is considered one of the best alternative to EA Sports Cricket 2007.

#3: EA Sport Cricket 2007

Release Date: November 24, 2006.
Released by Electronic Arts, one of the most prestigious game development companies in the world. You have the option of entering into many national and international contests, though the only Home Team tours available are Australia and England in Ashes. The Ashes series, though, is one of the game’s highlights.
You can play 50-, 20-, or 10-over matches including a four-day test match. The Big Bash league is also included. All in all, a wonderful cricket game both for its time and now. There are some game developers in India who found a patch allowing you to play Indian Premier League teams in this game. I use that option to take revenge on any IPL team that beats my favourite one.

#2: Ashes Cricket 2009:

Release Date: August 2009
This game is modeled on the Ashes series between England and Australia, considered one of the greatest sport rivalries in the world. This game is so good that even had Ashes Cricket 2013 not had so many bugs, it would have been unlikely to surpass the 2009 version. AC 2009has a wide range of shot selections which is one of its best feature. Other highlights include the stunning stadiums and the commentary by legendary cricketers like Shane Warne and Ian Bishop. It’s available on PC, PS3, and Xbox.
